It was another trip with my officemates, we decided to revisit Puerto Galera last July 16-18, 2016.
We took JAM bus liner at Buendia bound to Batangas Port for Php168 for around two hours. As we got out of the bus, fixers gathered around us, offering assistance for boat transfer. A roundtrip costs at least Ph500 to Muelle Port in which you have to pay Php50 and Php30 for Environmental and Terminal Fee. Travel time takes up to one hour and thirty minutes.
We chose Tamaraw Beach Resort again for our two nights stay. They provide free roundtrip shuttle service from Muelle Port to resort.
Below are the rates provided to us per night as of July 2016:
Fan room = Php800 for 2 pax
Apartment = Php3500 for 8 pax | max of 10 | addt’l pax for Php300
Superior Cottage = Php2000 for 2 pax | max of 6 | addt’l pax for P500
The last time I went here, the pool was under construction. The beachfront resort is located at Aninuan with few tourists unlike those at White Beach. Sunset Resort, which is at the left side of Taramaw, caught my attention. This seems new. I’ll better check this out next time.
There are many activities you could do at Puerto Galera. On the second day, we had our glass boat tour for Php350. We were brough at snorkling sites and sand bar. We had unlimited jump on their glass boat. I did it once. It was worth the price. We were finished by noon and went to White Beach for lunch.
Tamaraw Beach Resort had its sunset view which is nice.
